the 56th ann arbor film festival, ann arbor, michigan, mi
This Festival has been busy. I arrived to present the Disasters of Peace vol.4 screening and I Think You Should Come to America in the Main Competition 6 programme. I also took part in ‘What the Hell Was That?!’ panel, discussing Constance Strickland’s wonderful film, Out of the Dark/Into the Light. At AAFF I saw plenty of amazing work, met many talented people, made new friends and and reconnected with the old ones. With its overwhelming hospitality and stimulating film programmes, AAFF is certainly high on my list of festivals I’d like to return to.
